Often the cause sits outside the unit, such as a door left open during a delivery, a coil packed with grease, a kitchen far hotter than the maker allows or a booster fed cold water. Switch off and let the unit cool down. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### How hot can the air be around a Garland induction hob? Garland asks for intake air below 104°F. A unit placed under a salamander or beside a broiler can exceed that during service. ### Why does E06 show only in summer on my Garland?
