At roughly 96 volts or less the display shows ULo and the compressor is de-energized until the voltage recovers, when the safety resets itself. Trace the prep table's cord and make sure it reaches a wall outlet directly, with no power strip or extension in between. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can an extension cord cause ULo on a Hoshizaki prep table? It can. A long or thin cord loses voltage under load, which is why cold storage belongs on its own properly sized outlet. ### Will ULo damage the Hoshizaki compressor? The control stops the compressor to prevent that. Repeated starts on a sagging supply are still hard on it, so find the cause rather than living with the code. ### Why does ULo show whenever the dish machine runs? Two heavy loads may share a circuit or a weak feed.
