--- title: "Huebsch EAF2: no airflow proven after the cycle started" description: "What EAF2 means on Huebsch EAF2: no airflow proven after the cycle starteds, what to check before booking, and when it is not a failure at all." url: "https://commercialappliancerepair.center/error-codes/huebsch-eaf2/" --- # Huebsch EAF2: no airflow proven after the cycle started EAF2 is the most common airflow message on Huebsch Galaxy 600 tumblers. ## What EAF2 actually means. EAF2 is the most common airflow message on Huebsch Galaxy 600 tumblers. It points to restricted air: a clogged lint screen, a crushed or long duct, or a blocked outside hood. Huebsch clears it by cycling power or pressing MED TEMP and DELICATES together. Huebsch commercial appliance display · also shown as E AF2 What to do when EAF2 shows on the commercial appliance ### Kind of code Sensors and probes A probe is handing the controller a reading it cannot trust, or none at all: a box or coil sensor torn loose from its clip, a fryer probe coated in carbon from oil left too long between filterings, a combi core probe with a kinked cable, or a connector gone green from steam and cleaning chemicals. The unit then runs on, stops, or shuts the heat or the cooling off to protect itself. Letting it cool and restarting it as the manual describes is fair; a probe that still reads wrong sits behind a panel, and that is a visit. ### Usually leads to Commercial controls and board repair Controllers, touch panels, relays, contactors and interlocks tested, and replaced only when the evidence says so. ### Shows up as Commercial Appliance Error Code on a Combi, Fryer, Dish Machine or Laundry Display A commercial appliance error code appears as letters or numbers on a combi, fryer, reach-in controller, dish machine or laundry machine display, or as a flashing light or an alarm tone. ### Make Huebsch Huebsch machines in an on-premise laundry are often visited when the housekeeping or linen team has finished its heaviest loads. ### Source Huebsch Galaxy 600 tumbler control manual 70474201ENR6 (Alliance Laundry Systems, 2023) Huebsch vended tumblers with the Galaxy 600 control covered by manual 70474201ENR6: single 25 and 30 lb and stacked 30 lb pockets in gas, steam and electric versions. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Huebsch's own guidance for EAF2 on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Clean the lint screen and the compartment behind it. 02 Check the exhaust run and outside hood for lint, nests or a closed damper. 03 Clear the code with MED TEMP and DELICATES pressed together; book a visit if it returns on the next load. ### Still there? It usually turns into [commercial controls and board repair](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/services/commercial-controls-and-board-repair/). Book with the code and the model number. ### What not to do EAF2 is not a burner failure, even though the tumbler will not heat. It also differs from EAF, where the switch closes but flickers during the cycle. ## What you may notice with it. The commercial appliance problems EAF2 tends to arrive with. Clean the lint screen and the compartment behind it. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why do several Huebsch tumblers show EAF2 together? Machines that share an exhaust run or makeup air supply can all be starved at once. Look at the shared duct and the room's air supply. ### How do I clear EAF2 on a Huebsch? Power down and back up, or press MED TEMP and DELICATES at the same time, after cleaning the lint path. ### Is EAF2 on a Huebsch a fire warning? It is an airflow warning. Poor airflow and heavy lint raise fire risk, so fix the cause rather than resetting repeatedly. --- **[Read on the site: Huebsch EAF2: no airflow proven after the cycle started](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/error-codes/huebsch-eaf2/)** **[Book a visit with CommercialApplianceRepair.center](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/schedule/)**
