--- title: "Huebsch EoP: the tumbler's thermistor reads open" description: "What EoP means on Huebsch EoP: the tumbler's thermistor reads opens, what to check before booking, and when it is not a failure at all." url: "https://commercialappliancerepair.center/error-codes/huebsch-eop/" --- # Huebsch EoP: the tumbler's thermistor reads open EoP on a Galaxy 600 tumbler reports an open thermistor circuit. ## What EoP actually means. EoP on a Galaxy 600 tumbler reports an open thermistor circuit. A broken wire, a loose connector or a failed thermistor can all cause it, and Huebsch again asks for lint to be cleared from the sensor first. Huebsch commercial appliance display · also shown as E oP What to do when EoP shows on the commercial appliance ### Kind of code Sensors and probes A probe is handing the controller a reading it cannot trust, or none at all: a box or coil sensor torn loose from its clip, a fryer probe coated in carbon from oil left too long between filterings, a combi core probe with a kinked cable, or a connector gone green from steam and cleaning chemicals. The unit then runs on, stops, or shuts the heat or the cooling off to protect itself. Letting it cool and restarting it as the manual describes is fair; a probe that still reads wrong sits behind a panel, and that is a visit. ### Usually leads to Commercial controls and board repair Controllers, touch panels, relays, contactors and interlocks tested, and replaced only when the evidence says so. ### Shows up as Commercial Appliance Error Code on a Combi, Fryer, Dish Machine or Laundry Display A commercial appliance error code appears as letters or numbers on a combi, fryer, reach-in controller, dish machine or laundry machine display, or as a flashing light or an alarm tone. ### Make Huebsch Huebsch machines in an on-premise laundry are often visited when the housekeeping or linen team has finished its heaviest loads. ### Source Huebsch Galaxy 600 tumbler control manual 70474201ENR6 (Alliance Laundry Systems, 2023) Huebsch vended tumblers with the Galaxy 600 control covered by manual 70474201ENR6: single 25 and 30 lb and stacked 30 lb pockets in gas, steam and electric versions. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Huebsch's own guidance for EoP on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Take the pocket out of service with a sign so customers do not lose money. 02 Clean the lint screen and look for lint packed around the heat area you can reach without tools. 03 Book a visit so the thermistor wiring can be tested. ### Still there? It usually turns into [commercial controls and board repair](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/services/commercial-controls-and-board-repair/). Book with the code and the model number. ### What not to do EoP is not a gas or ignition problem, even though the tumbler may stop heating. ESH is the shorted-sensor partner of this code. ## What you may notice with it. The commercial appliance problems EoP tends to arrive with. Take the pocket out of service with a sign so customers do not lose money. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Is EoP on a Huebsch tumbler a wiring problem? Often. Vibration and heat can loosen or crack the thermistor wires over years. ### Does EoP affect both pockets on a stacked Huebsch? Each pocket has its own control and sensor, so usually only one pocket shows it. ### How fast should EoP on a Huebsch be repaired? Promptly. A pocket that cannot read temperature should not take customers' coins. --- **[Read on the site: Huebsch EoP: the tumbler's thermistor reads open](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/error-codes/huebsch-eop/)** **[Book a visit with CommercialApplianceRepair.center](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/schedule/)**
