When the drum does not fill in time the machine stops the program with this message. Miele points to the supply valve, a kinked intake hose, blocked intake filters, and low water pressure, for which the machine has its own low-pressure setting. Miele Professional commercial appliance display What to do when Water intake fault shows on the commercial appliance ### Kind of code Water, fill and drain Water is not arriving, not reaching its level, not heating or not leaving on time. A dish machine may be short of fill because a supply valve is half closed or its line strainer is clogged, it may drain slowly through a scrap basket full of debris, or its booster may be too scaled to heat the rinse; a combi's steam generator may be scaled or its water treatment exhausted; a washer-extractor may time out on a slow drain. Opening the supply valve, cleaning strainers with the unit off and checking the drain line are fair; a pump, a fill valve, a heater or a leak near wiring is a visit. ### Usually leads to Dish machine repair Undercounter, door-type and conveyor dish machines: tank heaters, boosters, wash pumps, fill and drain valves. ### Shows up as Commercial Appliance Error Code on a Combi, Fryer, Dish Machine or Laundry Display A commercial appliance error code appears as letters or numbers on a combi, fryer, reach-in controller, dish machine or laundry machine display, or as a flashing light or an alarm tone. ### Make Miele Professional Miele Professional machines in a small business laundry are usually visited at the start of the day, before the first full load. ### Source Miele Professional PWM 908 Little Giants laundry machine operating and installation instructions, en-US M.-Nr. 12 805 440 (media.miele.com) Miele Professional PWM 908 Little Giants machines with electric heating and drain pump or drain valve (en-US instructions M.-Nr. 12 805 440). ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Miele Professional's own guidance for Water intake fault on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Check that the water supply valves to the machine are fully open. 02 Straighten any kink in the intake hoses and clean the intake filters as described under Cleaning the filters. 03 If your building's pressure is low, ask whoever manages the machine settings to switch on the Low water pressure setting; if the message returns, book a visit. ### Still there? Check that the water supply valves to the machine are fully open. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does our Miele Little Giants stop filling in the morning? Water pressure often dips when a building's demand peaks. The machine has a Low water pressure setting for that, set in the supervisor level. ### Where are the intake filters on a Miele PWM 908? The manual's Cleaning the filters section shows them at the water connections. Turn off the water before removing them. ### Is the intake message the same as the hot water reminder? No. The hot water reminder appears at the end of a program when only the hot supply is restricted; the intake message stops the program. --- **[Read on the site: Miele Professional Little Giants intake message: the laundry machine did not fill](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/error-codes/miele-professional-pwm-water-intake-message/)** **[Book a visit with CommercialApplianceRepair.center](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/schedule/)**
