Extractors fitted with a temperature sensor use it to manage heating. When the reading drops below 0°F, UniMac treats the sensor as open and disables the heater and every sensor-based step for the rest of the cycle. UniMac commercial appliance display · also shown as EoP What to do when E oP shows on the commercial appliance ### Kind of code Sensors and probes A probe is handing the controller a reading it cannot trust, or none at all: a box or coil sensor torn loose from its clip, a fryer probe coated in carbon from oil left too long between filterings, a combi core probe with a kinked cable, or a connector gone green from steam and cleaning chemicals. The unit then runs on, stops, or shuts the heat or the cooling off to protect itself. Let the cycle finish; the machine will wash without temperature control. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can a UniMac still wash with E oP showing? It finishes the cycle without heating or temperature steps, so hot-wash loads will come out washed cooler. ### What causes an open sensor on a UniMac extractor?
