--- title: "UniMac E Ub: the extractor could not balance the load" description: "What E Ub means on UniMac E Ub: the extractor could not balance the loads, what to check before booking, and when it is not a failure at all." url: "https://commercialappliancerepair.center/error-codes/unimac-e-ub/" --- # UniMac E Ub: the extractor could not balance the load E Ub appears when a UniMac cannot balance a load before extract. ## What E Ub actually means. E Ub appears when a UniMac cannot balance a load before extract. Bulky single items like bath mats, blankets and bundled fire gear are the usual reason; the manual asks for the load to be redistributed and the cycle run again. UniMac commercial appliance display · also shown as EUb What to do when E Ub shows on the commercial appliance ### Kind of code Motors and drives Something that should turn is not turning, or not at the speed the controller expects. A washer-extractor's drive or its inverter may stop the spin when the load is out of balance or a bearing drags, a tumbler's belt may slip so the drum barely moves, a convection or combi fan may slow on worn bearings and bake unevenly, and a dish machine's wash pump may hum without spraying. Redistributing a load, confirming the door is latched and running the machine's own test cycle are fair; a drum, a belt or a motor is a visit, and nobody reaches into a drum that could still move. ### Usually leads to Commercial laundry machine repair Coin, card and on-premise laundry machines and tumblers: door locks, bearings, inverters, burners and payment hardware. ### Shows up as Commercial Appliance Error Code on a Combi, Fryer, Dish Machine or Laundry Display A commercial appliance error code appears as letters or numbers on a combi, fryer, reach-in controller, dish machine or laundry machine display, or as a flashing light or an alarm tone. ### Make UniMac UniMac equipment in a facility laundry room is usually serviced after the heaviest morning loads are out. ### Source UniMac UW-series washer-extractor control manual F8552201R2 (Alliance Laundry Systems, 2017) UniMac UW-series hardmount extractors of 45 to 130 lb (UWH, UWL, UWN and UWU models) with the keypad control in manual F8552201. Each step comes from UniMac's own guidance for E Ub on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Once the door unlocks on its own, pull the load out and reload it loosely. 02 Mix large and small items so no single piece sits alone. 03 If E Ub shows with normal loads, book a visit to check the suspension or mounting. ### Still there? Once the door unlocks on its own, pull the load out and reload it loosely. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why do bundled items trigger E Ub on a UniMac? A tied or folded bundle acts like one heavy lump. Loosening it lets the cylinder spread the weight. ### Can E Ub be switched off on a UniMac? The owner menu can turn the unbalance display on or off, but that only hides the message; the load still will not balance. ### Do wet loads come out of a UniMac after E Ub? They can be wetter than normal. Reload loosely and run a spin to finish them. --- **[Read on the site: UniMac E Ub: the extractor could not balance the load](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/error-codes/unimac-e-ub/)** **[Book a visit with CommercialApplianceRepair.center](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/schedule/)**
