Victory's table says it switches off all actuators, so the unit stops cooling. Victory's hydrocarbon units run on a flammable refrigerant, so this alarm deserves care. Victory commercial appliance display What to do when rSF shows on the commercial appliance ### Kind of code Compressor and cooling The unit is running but not moving heat out of the box the way it should. On a walk-in that is often a condensing unit on the roof choking on cottonwood or grease, a condenser fan that stopped, an evaporator fan or defrost heater that failed so the coil iced solid, or a slow refrigerant leak; a reach-in adds a door gasket or heater that lets warm air in. Cleaning the condenser face with the power off and checking that the doors close are fair first steps; the refrigerant circuit, the compressor and every line stay with a technician. ### Usually leads to Walk-in cooler repair Walk-in coolers and freezers back to temperature: evaporators, fans, defrost, drain heaters, condensing units and doors. ### Shows up as Commercial Appliance Error Code on a Combi, Fryer, Dish Machine or Laundry Display A commercial appliance error code appears as letters or numbers on a combi, fryer, reach-in controller, dish machine or laundry machine display, or as a flashing light or an alarm tone. ### Make Victory Victory cabinets in an institutional or hotel kitchen are visited with the kitchen manager on hand to confirm the temperature log. ### Source Victory RS and RSA reach-in installation and operating instructions, 809-190A rev. H, 2026); the HS/HIS warming cabinet manual carries the same table. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Victory's own guidance for rSF on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Do not reset rSF repeatedly or open any panel. 02 If you smell gas or hear a hiss, keep flames and switches away, ventilate and move people out of the area. 03 Move food to a working unit and log temperatures. 04 Book a visit; a leak check is technician work. ### Still there? It usually turns into [walk-in cooler repair](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/services/walk-in-cooler-repair/). Book with the code and the model number. ### What not to do rSF is not the high condensing alarm, which is CHt. A reset may restart the unit, but the reason for the alarm stays until it is found. ## What you may notice with it. The commercial appliance problems rSF tends to arrive with. Do not reset rSF repeatedly or open any panel. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Is rSF on my Victory dangerous? It warns of a possible refrigerant leak. On a hydrocarbon unit, keep ignition sources away and ventilate if you notice any smell. ### Can I reset rSF on a Victory myself? Victory lists it as a manual reset, but resetting without finding the leak only restarts the problem. Book a visit. ### Why did my Victory stop completely with rSF? The control switches off all outputs when this alarm trips, which is by design. --- **[Read on the site: Victory rSF: the refrigerant leak alarm has tripped](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/error-codes/victory-rsf/)** **[Book a visit with CommercialApplianceRepair.center](https://commercialappliancerepair.center/schedule/)**
