What No Heat Error
actually means.

When the control asks for cavity heat, it expects the temperature to move. If the cavity probe shows less than a 1°F rise over 5 minutes, the control shows No Heat Error. On gas models an interrupted gas supply or a failed ignition is the usual story; on electric models, an element or contactor.

What to do when No Heat Error shows on the commercial appliance

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Blodgett's own guidance for No Heat Error on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

On gas models, confirm the oven gas valve is open and that the other gas equipment on the line lights; if you smell gas, leave the building and call the utility from outside.

02

On electric models, check the breaker for the oven.

03

Restart once; if No Heat Error returns, arrange service for ignition or heating parts.

Still there?

It usually turns into reach-in and prep table repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

No Heat Error is not a probe problem; the probe is reading, and it reads no change. A cavity that overheats shows Cavity High Temp Error instead.

Where No Heat Error usually leads

Reach-in and prep table repair.

Reach-in, pass-through or prep table gasket, hinge, fan motor, thermostat or controller, defrost heater, leak repair or compressor · moderate.

In Blodgett's own words

The cavity probe temperature does not raise 1F in 5 minutes during a call for cavity heat.

Five minutes of calling for heat with less than 1°F of rise.
Is No Heat Error on a Blodgett dangerous?
Only if gas is involved; if you smell gas, evacuate and call the utility. Otherwise it means downtime until the heating parts are checked.

Still showing No Heat Error?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
