Separate from the main control, a CTX has a limit board that watches for runaway heat and can shut heating down on its own. The manual shows this message when the limit board reads above 1075°F for more than 5 seconds. Because the oven self-cleans at 900°F, a trip at this level during normal cooking points to a heating circuit that is not switching off.
