What d0
actually means.

The D-sensor sits in the evaporator; Turbo Air's M3 service manual has it pulled out of the evap when replaced. The board also uses it for the C1 check on the compressor. d0 means its reading is out of range at the top.

What to do when d0 shows on the commercial appliance

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Turbo Air's own guidance for d0 on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Check food temperatures and log them twice a shift.

02

Listen for the compressor cycling; note if it seems to run all the time or not at all.

03

Book a visit and quote d0.

Still there?

It usually turns into commercial controls and board repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

d0 is not an overheated evaporator; the reading is simply out of range. It is the shorted-side failure, with d1 as the open side.

Where d0 usually leads

Commercial controls and board repair.

Controller, touch panel, probe or sensor, relay, contactor, power supply, door switch or interlock, tested before anything is changed · moderate.

Still showing d0?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
