What uHi
actually means.

High line voltage heats motors and the compressor and can damage electronics. Randell's table sends uHi to a voltage check by a qualified technician. Condensing units are built for about 10 percent either side of the voltage on the data tag.

What to do when uHi shows on the commercial appliance

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Randell's own guidance for uHi on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Write down when uHi appears and what else was running.

02

Have an electrician measure the outlet voltage.

03

Book a visit if uHi remains once the supply reads normal.

What not to do

uHi is not a temperature alarm. It is the opposite of uLi and points at the building supply first.

What you may
notice with it.

The commercial appliance problem uHi tends to arrive with. Answer these at the commercial appliance before anyone is booked.

Still showing uHi?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
