What not to do

F8 does not mean water is leaking onto the floor. A load that comes out soaked after F8 is a result of the drain, not a separate spin problem.

Where F8 usually leads

Dish machine repair.

Dish machine tank heater or booster element, thermostat, fill valve, float switch, drain valve, wash pump seal or motor, conveyor drive · moderate.

Questions
about F8.

Can I clear F8 myself?
Check the floor drain or trough for backup. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why did my Dexter tumble instead of spinning after F8?
Dexter will not spin with water in the tub, so it agitates through the spin time when the tub never empties.
Can lint cause F8 on a Dexter?
Lint and small items at the drain valve are common reasons for a slow drain.
Is F8 on a Dexter the pressure switch?
It can be, if its tube is blocked or the switch misreads. That is checked inside the machine.

Still showing F8?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
