What Service 11
actually means.

Before the iCombi Pro can make steam, it has to fill its steam generator from the building water line. Service 11 reports that this intake is not doing its job. Rational lists cooking as still possible.

What to do when Service 11 shows on the commercial appliance

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Rational's own guidance for Service 11 on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Check that the water shut-off valve feeding the oven is fully open and that no one has closed it for other plumbing work.

02

Look for a kinked or crushed inlet hose behind the unit without pulling the oven away from the wall.

03

If the valve is open and Service 11 stays, book a visit so the inlet and fill valve can be checked.

Still there?

It usually turns into dish machine repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

Service 11 is about the steam generator's own intake, not about the hand shower or the cleaning water. A problem with measuring how much water went in is reported separately as Service 12.

Where Service 11 usually leads

Dish machine repair.

Dish machine tank heater or booster element, thermostat, fill valve, float switch, drain valve, wash pump seal or motor, conveyor drive · moderate.

Questions
about Service 11.

Can I clear Service 11 myself?
Check that the water shut-off valve feeding the oven is fully open and that no one has closed it for other plumbing work. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my Rational iCombi Pro show Service 11 after plumbing work?
A closed or half-open shut-off valve is the easiest cause to rule out. Once the supply is back to normal, restart the oven; if the message returns, the intake itself needs a technician.
Is the steam on a Rational oven affected by Service 11?
It can be, because the steam generator depends on that fill. Rational still lists cooking as possible, so dry heat work carries on while you watch the moist modes.
Does a water filter cause Service 11 on a Rational combi?
A clogged filter cartridge on the supply can starve the intake, so ask whoever changes your filters when it was last replaced. The manual itself only names the intake, so a technician should confirm the cause.

Still showing Service 11?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
