YES tells it the tank is full and ready to heat; NO at the end of a filter runs the pump for another 20 seconds. Pitco warns that answering wrongly can lead to unsafe conditions, because the fryer may heat a tank that is not full.

Press YES only when the oil is at the fill line; press NO if it is short so the pump can run longer.
If you have pressed NO several times and the level still is not rising, stop and check the filter pan and pickup; a fourth NO shuts the fryer off.

The code is gone from the controller, the box pulls down to its set point and holds it, the vat or the cavity reaches temperature and recovers on schedule, the rinse hits its heat and the drum finishes its spin, all without a new part. If the same code comes back within a week, or during the next busy shift, mention it when you book.
