What E Ht
actually means.

UniMac extractors with a heater raise the bath to the temperature the cycle calls for. If that takes longer than the heat alarm time, E Ht shows and the heater output is switched off for the rest of the cycle, so the load finishes cooler than planned.

What to do when E Ht shows on the commercial appliance

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from UniMac's own guidance for E Ht on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Let the cycle finish and note whether the load needs rewashing for linen that must be hot-washed.

02

Check that the hot water supply is actually hot, since cold inlet water makes the heater work far longer.

03

Book a visit if E Ht repeats; heater elements and their contactors are behind the panels.

Questions
about E Ht.

Can I clear E Ht myself?
Let the cycle finish and note whether the load needs rewashing for linen that must be hot-washed. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Should a care home rewash a load after E Ht on a UniMac?
If the cycle was meant to reach a set temperature for infection control, treat the load as not done and rewash once heating is fixed.
Why does E Ht show on a UniMac after the building's hot water was serviced?
If the supply now arrives cooler, the heater has much more work to do and can run out of time.
Is E Ht on a UniMac dangerous?
No. The control shuts the heater off. It is a performance problem, not a hazard.

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
