What E ro
actually means.

When the rotation sensor signal goes bad, a UniMac does not stop mid-load. It switches to fixed coast times to finish the cycle safely, then shows E ro so the owner knows the sensor needs attention.

Questions
about E ro.

Can I clear E ro myself?
Let the cycle finish on its own coast timing. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Can I keep using a UniMac that shows E ro?
It will finish cycles on coast timing, but without speed feedback it cannot manage extract as well. Plan a repair soon.
Does E ro stop the cycle on a UniMac?
No. The control switches to fixed coast times so the load can finish, then shows the code.
Is E ro a sensor or a board problem on a UniMac?
Usually the sensor or its harness; the board is checked only after those.

Still showing E ro?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
