What E57
actually means.

The CTP uses a separate valve for rinse water, watched by a flow switch. E57 is called out when that switch sees nothing for 60 seconds or more. A closed supply, low pressure, or a dirty or failed flow switch are the causes the manual lists.

Questions
about E57.

Can I clear E57 myself?
Check the water valve to the oven is fully open. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
What does rinse water do on an Alto-Shaam combi?
It is the water the oven uses to rinse its cabinet, separate from the steam supply. E57 means that flow has stopped.
Can a dirty flow switch cause E57 on an Alto-Shaam?
Yes, the manual lists it. Mineral or debris in the line can stop the switch from moving.
Should I keep cooking with E57 on an Alto-Shaam?
Dry cooking may carry on, but the oven will not rinse. Book a visit before the next cleaning run.

Still showing E57?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
