What to do when E92 shows on the commercial appliance

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Alto-Shaam's own guidance for E92 on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Switch the oven off, disconnect power, reconnect it and switch the oven on, as the manual lists first.

02

Note whether the code came back straight away or after some time.

03

Book a visit if E92 returns; the CAN cable and board connectors sit behind panels.

Questions
about E92.

Can I clear E92 myself?
Switch the oven off, disconnect power, reconnect it and switch the oven on, as the manual lists first. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
How do I clear E92 on an Alto-Shaam?
Turn the oven off, disconnect power, reconnect it and turn it back on. That is the first remedy the manual lists.
What causes E92 to keep returning on an Alto-Shaam?
A loose or damaged CAN cable, or a bad connector on the relay or display board. A technician checks those behind the panels.
Are E92, E93 and E94 on an Alto-Shaam the same problem?
All three concern communication between the interface and control boards. The number tells the technician which way it failed.

Still showing E92?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
