What dOr
actually means.
Each control make True uses has its own spelling of the door alarm: dOr on Carel, dor on Danfoss ERC, do on LAE and dA on Dixell. The door switch tells the control the door is open, and after a set delay the control raises the alarm. It clears when the switch reads the door closed again.

What to do when dOr shows on the commercial applianceKind of codeTemperature and alarms
The controller has seen a temperature outside the band it was set for and is saying so: a box above its alarm point, a fryer vat or an oven cavity that tripped its high-limit, or a dish machine rinse that never came up to heat. Often the cause sits outside the unit, such as a door left open during a delivery, a coil packed with grease, a kitchen far hotter than the maker allows or a booster fed cold water. Checking the door, the coil and the air around the unit is fair; move the product if a cold box stays above 41°F, and book the visit.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from True Residential's own guidance for dOr on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Close every door firmly and listen for the alarm to stop.
Look for a sheet pan, a lid or a case of product holding the door a finger's width open.
Check the door gasket for a torn or folded section and wipe it clean.
If the message stays with the door shut tight, book a visit so the door switch and its wiring can be tested.

What not to do
The door alarm is not a temperature alarm, though a door left open long enough will bring one. A self-closing door that drifts open usually needs the hinge or cam looked at, not the control.

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
