What EHI
actually means.

The Carel control watches the incoming supply. EHI, log code 36, is high voltage and ELO, log code 37, low voltage. Both light the icon, trip the alarm relay and sound the buzzer, and both reset once the voltage is back in range. Victory asks for a dedicated circuit for its cabinets.

What to do when EHI shows on the commercial appliance

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Victory's own guidance for EHI on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Make sure the unit is plugged straight into its own outlet, not an extension cord.

02

Note what else on the circuit was running when the alarm came on.

03

Have an electrician measure the supply and book a visit if the alarm continues on good voltage.

Still there?

It usually turns into commercial controls and board repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

EHI and ELO are not failures of the control. They point at the building supply first.

What you may
notice with it.

The commercial appliance problem EHI tends to arrive with. Answer these at the commercial appliance before anyone is booked.

Questions
about EHI.

Can I clear EHI myself?
Make sure the unit is plugged straight into its own outlet, not an extension cord. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my Victory show ELO at busy times?
Other heavy equipment starting on the same supply can pull the voltage down. A dedicated circuit is the usual fix.
Is EHI on a Victory harmful?
High voltage heats motors and electronics, so have the supply measured soon.
Will EHI or ELO on a Victory clear by itself?
Yes, Victory lists both as automatic resets once voltage returns to normal.

Still showing EHI?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
