What is particular

An alarm log you can open

The Carel control on current Victory reach-ins and warming cabinets keeps a log of alarms, opened from the keypad or read through the Carel Applica app over Bluetooth. We read that history before touching anything.

HACCP records built in

The same control keeps HACCP records: HA for a warm spell during operation and HF for one after a blackout. They stay until someone clears them, which suits kitchens that must show an inspector what happened.

Leak and frost protection

Victory's hydrocarbon cabinets carry a refrigerant leak alarm that shuts off all outputs, and a frost protection alarm that stops the compressor. Both change what a technician does first on arrival.

Different controls by series

Air curtain units and some prep tables use other controls with their own messages, such as AH1 and OPd on the ACRS air curtains. The model number decides which list applies.

Parts

Victory runs parts, technical and warranty support pages and a service provider locator on its own site. Controls, probes and door switches are matched to the model and serial number, and hydrocarbon units take parts rated for a flammable refrigerant.

Repair or replace

A Victory cabinet with a sound body and doors is worth repairing when a probe, fan, door switch, heater or control fails. A sealed-system failure on an older unit is the point where comparing with a new cabinet makes sense.

How do I read the alarm history on a Victory?
Hold the parameter button for three seconds, press the alarm log button and scroll with the arrows. Scroll to ESC to leave the log.
What is the Carel Applica app for on my Victory?
It connects to the control over Bluetooth and shows live alarms and alarm history on a phone or tablet.
Why does my Victory air curtain show different codes?
ACRS air curtain units use a different control, with codes such as AH1, AL1 and OPd. Tell us the model so we bring the right list.
Do Victory warming cabinets use the same alarms?
