What HA
actually means.

Victory's Carel control keeps HACCP records for food safety. HA, log code 21, marks a period of high temperature during normal operation. It shows without the buzzer and must be reset by hand, so it is a trail for the manager rather than a live alarm.

What to do when HA shows on the commercial appliance

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Victory's own guidance for HA on its commercial appliances. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Open the alarm log to see when the high temperature happened.

02

Compare it with your own temperature log and decide on the food as your health code directs.

03

Record what you found, then reset HA.

04

If HA keeps appearing, book a visit.

Still there?

It usually turns into reach-in and prep table repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

HA is not the live high temperature alarm; that is HI, which sounds the buzzer. HF is a separate HACCP record for high temperature after a blackout.

Questions
about HA.

Can I clear HA myself?
Open the alarm log to see when the high temperature happened. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does my Victory show HA when the cabinet is cold now?
HA is a stored record of an earlier warm spell. It stays until someone resets it.
Should I tell the inspector about HA on my Victory?
Keep the record with your temperature log and note what you did with the food. The inspector will want to see your action.
How is HA different from HF on a Victory?
HA is high temperature during normal running; HF is high temperature after a power outage.

Still showing HA?

A booking with a code goes further when it has the code as shown, the model and serial from the data plate, and a word on whether the unit still holds temperature, heats, rinses or spins. With those three, the office can match the likely part to your unit the same day.
