What E25
actually means.

Frymaster's gas fryers push combustion air with a blower, and an air pressure switch has to confirm that air is flowing before ignition is allowed. When the switch stays open, the FQ4000 logs E25 and holds the burner off. A blower that is dirty, blocked or not turning, or a pressure switch or its tubing that has failed, can each cause it.

Something that should turn is not turning, or not at the speed the controller expects. A washer-extractor's drive or its inverter may stop the spin when the load is out of balance or a bearing drags, a tumbler's belt may slip so the drum barely moves, a convection or combi fan may slow on worn bearings and bake unevenly, and a dish machine's wash pump may hum without spraying. Redistributing a load, confirming the door is latched and running the machine's own test cycle are fair; a drum, a belt or a motor is a visit, and nobody reaches into a drum that could still move.

Turn the vat off and listen when it is switched back on: a blower that hums without spinning or makes no sound at all is worth mentioning to the technician.

Make sure nothing is pressed against the back of the fryer or stuffed near the blower intake, and that the fryer sits where it was installed under the hood.

If the message comes back, leave the vat off and book a visit to clean and test the blower and the air pressure switch.

Can I clear E25 myself?
Turn the vat off and listen when it is switched back on: a blower that hums without spinning or makes no sound at all is worth mentioning to the technician. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
What does the blower do on a Frymaster gas fryer?
It supplies the combustion air the burners need. The fryer checks that air is moving before it opens gas to the burner, which is what E25 reports on.
Can grease on the blower cause E25 on a Frymaster?
Yes. Frymaster lists a dirty or obstructed combustion air blower as a cause of slow heating and popping ignition, and heavy buildup can stop the switch from proving airflow.
Is E25 dangerous on a Frymaster?
It is a safe stop: the fryer refuses to light without proven airflow. The cost is downtime on that vat until the blower or switch is repaired.
